I'm on an unlocked Desire HD in the UK and still no utpade for me. What's worst about it was my wife at Saturday breakfast telling me all about the utpade she had just got on her Incredible S!I also have a Wildfire S, that hasn't had the utpade either . . .Would echo wallacr's question as to whether anyone in the UK with a DHD has received it. Honestly my mams amazing. She's the most thutohufgl person i know & the most caring. She gave up so much when we were younger just so me and my brothers could have a good childhood. I mean we scraped by just to make ends meet but she was always so positive and i have a lot of great childhood memories thanks to her. I mean I never had all the stuff my friends did like the designer clothes or the new games console but I had a mam who would come out on the road and make play tennis with us and make a fool out of herself and not care because all that mattered to her was spending time with us. I'd love to be able to give my mam something like this just to say thanks.. Though i know if she won it she'd probably end up giving it to me cause she's that kind of person! =) (Posted on 8/6/12)

I think that would be a good investment, However wtiniag till black friday is always tempting the deals are so much better, even if you do not find the savings you would like on black friday you will still be able to go out and purchase the tv you want! As for being future proof I do not think a company will ever design their televisions, or gaming equipment to be future proof. I think that is the name of the game the companies work hand in hand to make changes so that we the consumer have to go out and spend more money on their products. i have this tv and i have it in a 42 1080p i also have the red glass form 32 in my kids room 1080p and have a ps3 hooked up to all 3 and guess what i swear i must be blind cuz they are all set to dyniamc and the 50in shows the best oh ya and to me plasma shows way better for color and brightness hands down (Posted on 8/6/12)

This has been a sore spot for us techs in the field because of cteuomsrs asking this exact question. You are receiving a 60hz signal your set upconverts it to 240hz and that is what you are seeing.
